Provide suru style icons for all pre-installed apps #821
Comments
I’m skeptical of this whole shaped-icon thing … BUT if that’s the goal, I would investigate whether it’s allowed to customize the icons for Firefox and LibreOffice first (since they have trademark policies), before spending a lot of time on others. It would be pretty miserable if they said “Sorry, you can’t”, and we ended up with a default icon set that looked unfinished forever.
Heh, that’s something we meant to fix back in 2011 and never got around to. usb-creator’s icon should show a USB stick, not an internal hard disk! Also, any Ubuntu logo should be a white-on-orange (or maybe white-on-black) Ubuntu roundel, not just the circle-of-friends element. |
Hm ... |
This is the list of missing apps.
(((There are some apps that have icons, but the snaps are still use the wrong icon, like gnome-logs, gnome-characters and gnome-calculator but the snapcraft guys are working on it ( https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/gnome-calculator-theming-issues/7290 ) )))
If I missed anything PRE-INSTALLED please post it here
