This page is a part of piLINCS Wiki pages.

Most tabs in piLINCS (and in particular those that provide different views of profiles) provide a filtering tool that uses indexes of terms found in the database to provide quick recommendations as a basis to filter on (assay, cell type, perturbation, dose) tuples.

  • STEP 1: Go to one of the following tabs: * Raw data tab * Profiles tab * Merged profiles tab
  • STEP 2: Just start typing the query terms you are interested in the field 'Start typing a query'
  • STEP 3: After selecting one element of your tuple (e.g., perturbation), start typing another term etc.

For example, to limit your search to (P100,MCF7,Resveratrol) tuple, type P1 and select assay P100, then type MC and select cell MCF7, and finally type R and select perturbation Resveratrol.

Note that similar filtering on tuples can be also applied in the context of API calls to enable export of subsets corresponding to some selection of tuples.
