Right now an Foodle is anonymous or required login. The anonymous option should send users to login if Foodle knows that they successfully have authenticated in the past.

This would prevent you imho from using foodle as a logged in user and as a regular user in sequence with the same browser profile. At least without deleting one specific cookie.
This is usefull e.g. to test behaviour or if you want to make changes to some poll without entering administration mode (i.e. I use a not logged in session to update my polls even I am the owner).

If I understand you correct, this can be solved by using the logout feature of Foodle. However, I do not have control over how well logout works with other identity providers than the ones in norway.
