Text widget issues in WP 5.8.1 #183

When upgrading to WP 5.8.1, the Text widgets disappear and no longer function as expected, even with the Classic Widgets Plugin.

Workaround: use Custom HTML widget for all HTML based widgets, converting them before updating.

Was not able to confirm an issue with this. Closing for now.
