Split Screen bug

Previously, the bug has occurred on the transition 2.4.1.3.3.3 into 2.4.2.1 transition. Also 2.4.3.1.5.1HPV into 2.4.3.1.5.2. When I played again on Thursday morning, it occurred elsewhere.

Just now, the split screen problem occurred in the transition from 2.4.1.3.3.3 into 2.4.2.1.

And again, the split screen problem occurs in the transition from 2.4.3.1.5.4 into 2.4.3.2.

And again, it's occurred in the transition from 2.4.4.1.4.2 into 2.4.4.2Ed.

And again, from 2.4.4.2Ed into 2.4.4.3. My impression is that it's only occurring when mails are received. (But not all mails, just some.)

also from starting with 2.4.5.1.7.1 i had this problem.

Just occurred while I was playing 2.4.3.1.2.2. This is the first time it's occurred while I've been on an actual page as opposed to on the notebook/inbox 'layer' page.

1. ch4 decent money then continue until page Making a plan
2. choose Hamilton Library
3. on page Hamilton Library Round-Up click fast on the continue button
4. now the page is locked

Just occurred to me as I transitioned from 2.4.1.3.4.2 to 2.4.1.3.4.2D

Info from Martin: it appears if you have to notebook or the mail layer open and a dialog or a mail pops up.
check if there is a functionality to open the notebook automatically.

Ideas of reproducing:
page: open mail + dialog in 3 seconds (at the same time)
others?

Hi Christian: just to say, today I've been only checking the menu choices and the money etc. As a consequence, I've not opened the Notebook at all--and the split screen error hasn't once occurred. (I have opened the mail several times and there's been no split screen problem.) So it seems to happen when the notebook is open, although I can't be more precise than that at the moment...

As I play through: here is where it occurs again:

• when I click "continue" to transition from 2.1.4 to 2.1.5: the notebook and mail layers come up simultaneously; after I respond to the dialogue box on 2.1.5, I can only return to the notebook/mail layer, not to page 2.1.5 itself.
• when I click "continue" to transition from 2.4.1.3.3.3 to 2.4.2.1: the notebook and mail layers come up simultaneously
• when I click "continue" to transition from 2.4.3.1.4.2 to 2.4.3.2: the notebook and mail layers come up simultaneously

After playing around on how to reproduce split screen bug I found what works for me, so please try and confirm.

1. Open notebook add entry
2. Close notebook (important is to be closed)
3. Make transition

This is now constantly happening to me when I press "Continue" in 2.1.4: before the page transitions to 2.1.5, I'm getting exactly the split screen that Nemanja posted in #53

It occurs again when I press "Continue" in 2.1.7.
One pattern that I therefore suspect: is it happening on the transition from one page when the next page has a timed dialogue box?

Ok. that is fixed now. I renounce to test every situation where it was occurred.
Let's report any new situation again here. But the big hope is here, that it will not appear any more. :-)
