Right-hand margins in Notebook PDF

This comes out of #38, which I have now closed. The basic problem is that when I have a long notebook ("Create new note") input, it appears in the Notebook PDF with undefined right-hand margins and layered over the PDF page footer. The example is here with the original notebook entry:

Please have a think whether this could be quickly fixed. Is part of the problem that the PDF won't recognize when it needs to make a page break because it has too much text?
