I know this isn't an issue with this patch, but I was curious to know how hard or if it's possible to create some kind of option to disable the Bloom and Depth of Field Post Processing options.
Unfortunately these effects are fixed to a very low fractional resolution based on the rendering resolution and they are distractingly low quality with numerous temporal crawling/flicker issues and I'd like to replace them with effects from Reshade instead.

There is the launch option to disable all post effects but unfortunately this seems to break other rendering like the minimap.
Thank you for your time.

this is actually a good idea, same goes for the shadows, they eat the fps allot

DOF is indeed aggressive in LAN, but it mostly serves to hide very poor mipmaps and levels of detail in the distance, which otherwise would look absolutely awful.

Well it's a good thing then I don't want to get rid of DoF and Bloom entirely. I just want to eliminate the aliasing present in those effects and the overall low quality of them. Even if I did though it would be a somewhat moot point because of the ability to force better Anti Aliasing on Nvidia GPUs that takes care of 90% of the aliasing present in the game. (Z-Fighting seems to be a big problem still left over).
And that's primarily why I made this request, because forcing SGSSAA takes care of just about all of the aliasing except with Bloom and DoF and infact actually makes the aliasing in the DoF worse in addition to being more noticeable because it is left alone. Especially when driving with distant DoF effects being as much of a distraction as distant detail being a problem with the effect disabled.

Here's some comparisons and videos to visualize everything.

You can see SGSSAA helps greatly with overall aliasing in the scene, but DoF aliasing is exacerbated a lot.
Now you can add DoF from reshade just on top of the existing DoF but this looks bad and the aliasing is still present, leading to a weird mismash in some scenes.

Notice in the background on the wooden floor and mat the aliasing still present, but with the DoF disabled and using Reshade DoF the aliasing is now gone.

And some videos showing in motion No AA with the post effects still enabled (I would recommend downloading the videos. Playing them in drive recompresses them to the point of excess high frequency information being nuked)

Compared to 8xSGSSAA with PE still enabled, and notice the flickering of the bloom and DoF.

Just how huge of a difference it makes but
