Request additional firing method. #1958
Comments
Some people use a keyboard button to fire, I think you should give it a try. |
I currently use Q to fire, with "+attack;wait;-attack" bound, and mouse1 as +attack for planting purposes. |
have you tried lowering your key repeat rate in your OS settings? |
I'm not saying this is a proper fix, but I have an older nostromo n52. It would be considered a left hand only keyboard supplement and is able to map any of it's keys to the mouse buttons. there is a regular macro-based pseudo-driver ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/nostromodriver/ ) and a e-sport pseudo-driver ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/jnostromo/ ) for it. While I rarely use it with games these days, it or something like it could help if another easier solution is not found. |
@disabledgamer , I don't quite understand the issue. Are you clicking the mouse (or kb) multiple times in quick succession and causing more shots than you wanted to fire? |
Yes, sometimes I am unable to just press or click quickly so i can't fire precisely, currently using that workaround to just fire one time per press even if held down. a bit late on my reply here :( |
I have hypermobility, in my hands this causes shaking and usually it is hard for me to control exactly how often i can press the mouse button to fire a shot precisely.
If you could add an option to fire a single shot per key press this would help greatly, the current way "+attack;wait;-attack" is not legal in league settings for using "wait", is blocked in some pubs for using "wait".
Thanks for reading.
