Navigating with filtering is weird #2
Comments
Could you please provide some additional information on how to reproduce this error? This is what i did and Vanilla behaves like it is supposed to do:

That's what I see, but if I want to see all songs or albums again while filtering, having to go back out of the filtering seems like extra steps. I think swapping sort order would provide another workflow for the end goal (making playlists[1]) until #3 is done if this is intended. [1]I have albums that are "Various Artist" and therefore never show up (fully) when filtered, so I usually put artists, or specific albums by an artist, and then scan the album list for collaboration albums when making playlists. This bug is about the extra steps thrown in the in an already tedious task. I would guess that if #3 were implemented, I wouldn't care about this anymore. |
That's already implemented: You just have to hit gray box on the bottom left corner. (The one that reads 'LABEL | X'). This will remove the filtering and you will be able to see all Songs / Albums without going back. |
When selecting the arrow on an album or artist, back needs to be hit twice to return to an unfiltered list again. Maybe an "X" or something to clear the filter can be done?
