This PR is a draft, as the following items need to be done before merging:
cargoSha256.Cargo.toml.Also, the file
distribution/nix/default.nixis an ERB template, but it doesn't have.erbextension because it can't be generated withmake generate. I'm not sure is plainnixextension for a template confusing or not.
