Not installing subfolders when installing pdf-tools via MELPA #227

Describe the bug
I need the export annotations features but when I install pdf-tools with MELPA I only have one subfolder "build", and none of the rest so I can't access many functions.

Desktop
Please complete the following information:

  • OS: MacOs M1 Ventura
  • Emacs Version: 28.2 build 1
  • Poppler Version: stable 23.06.0 (bottled), HEAD

Your pdf-tools install

  • pdf-tools Version: Version: 20230611.239
