This repository hosts the source code of the Go client for the Alvalor blockchain platform. The goal of the Alvalor project is to create a highly scalable blockchain infrastructure with flexible upgrade mechanisms, innovative incentive schemes and participatory governance structures.

We use a workflow where you fork the repository on Github, implement your changes in a branch on your repository and create a pull request to submit them for review. Once approved, your contribution will become part of the source code for the Alvalor Go client. If this is all new to you, please don't hesitate to get in touch, we will gladly help you out.
- Code must follow the official Go formatting guidelines.
- Code must be documented according to the official Go commentary guidelines.
Please note that you will also have to digitally sign the Contributor License Agreement. This will allow us to be sure that we don't run into any licensing issues in the future.

GNU Affero General Public License v3.0,
also included in our repository in the LICENSE
file.
In the light of encouraging wide adoption and enterprise usage, we are considering to move to a more permissive license, such as the MIT license, in the future.
