####n. Setup or used continuous monitoring

Vencore selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the deployment target, and utilized the AWS API, infrastructure, and SVCs Dashboard as our continuous monitoring solution. The infrastructure team setup EC2 instance monitoring and alerts on AWS to monitor for high CPU and memory utilization of the deployed application. The infrastructure team will be able to take appropriate action as they receive high priority alerts.

The security team runs static code analysis scans to continuously monitor for security issues. For the prototype, we have used NodeJSScan tool for scanning our prototype application, the scans are done nightly.
