Feature: Search / Filter Option for the menu

I have an USB-Stick with many iso files that I collected over the last months and everytime I boot I start typing the name of the required image until I notice, that there is no search or filter option.

What I would like to suggest:

• Typing characters should jump to the according boot entry item, if there is one (like in most file browsers)
• There should also be an input field to filter all images by a specific term (very simple would be enough, just match for words)

Would this be possible?
