  • I am on the latest Hyper.app version
  • I have searched the issues of this repo and believe that this is not a duplicate
  • OS version and name: Fedora 35
  • Hyper.app version: 3.1.5
  • Link of a Gist with the contents of your .hyper.js: Haven't touched configs at all. ~/.config/hyper/ dir is empty
  • Relevant information from devtools (CMD+ALT+I on macOS, CTRL+SHIFT+I elsewhere): N/A
  • The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: Is vanilla

Issue

Was checking if Hyper is as fast as Alacritty is and was thinking of switching. Surprisingly, it is indeed amazingly fast, but it shows me artifacts of previous window. Steps I performed:

  1. Open a file in Neovim
  2. Exit Neovim
  3. Launch tmux
  4. Split a pane

As you can see, clear does not clear the window. It only clears last entered symbols like you can see what happened to neofetch output. Changing panes, full-screening them and changing windows had no effect as well.

Haven't tested with WebGL renderer disabled as performance is the only thing I'm seeking in alternative terminal emulators.
