Use Mergebot schemas? #1333
Comments
I was sad to read the news yesterday. We could ask @bradt, @polevaultweb or @gilbitron if there are parts of their work that they think would possibly make sense to contribute, and whether they would be willing to. What I've been impressed with over time is Mergebot schemas – they managed to build quite some list of them. The format is quite different, see e.g. how Mergebot describes WordPress core vs. how VersionPress does it, but the underlying concerns are very similar. |
Is it possible to convert the schemas in any reasonable way?
Is the structure entirely different or just keywords, notation etc? Sorry
I'm on a mobile, and these links aren't working right for me.

Nevermind. Got the page to load. They use a format similar to JSON.
I've been wondering if there's a way a tool chain could be made to help
automate the creation of these. It's basically for the database tracking
isn't it?

I met @bradt at WordCamp EU this year, he was happy for us to use schemas if we find them useful. Thank you, Brad! |

I'm sure many of us saw this by now:
Given its GPLv3 license, are there parts of Mergebot which may help the continued development of VersionPress and its features?
