This release adds password protection to the RPC interface by default, and disables it for GUI instances of Electrum-VTC. This release therefore contains the full patch as recommended by the upstream Electrum issue (spesmilo#3374) and the issue for Electrum-VTC (#79).

Additionally this release contains numerous bug fixes solving the following issues/pull requests:

  • #73
  • #66
  • More ElectrumX backend nodes

As always back up your wallet before upgrading.

I have included signatures for each of the binaries, signed with my pgp key.
