This plugin is unmaintained and does not work with the latest version. There isn't even a working npm package.

Having a non-working plugin in the main library plugin list is misleading.

I'd say better off leaving it here since someone may update it.
I'd be happy to participate in a crowdfunding campaign to get this pos into working order again.

In the meantime, Would be great to know which version of Video.JS this plugin last worked for. Perhaps I can still use that legacy version.

Vimeo now provides direct links in mp4 and hls format for videos.

These can be used directly with the VideoJS player without a plugin. I know there will be other users cases to use the Vimeo plugin but thought it was worth noting.

Hi there guys!

Here at Mobiliza we have developed a hard fork for this plugin for supporting version 7.6.6 onwards: https://github.com/Mobiliza/videojs-vimeo

Hope it is useful.

I am using this plugin https://github.com/Mobiliza/videojs-vimeo right now, but the video gets not loaded properly. Sometimes it appears and sometimes not....

No errors in my console, so should work.

Hope someone could help me please.

Thanks for this @samueleastdev, super helpful as this may be the solution I implement but unfortunately only available within Pro accounts which comes with an annual fee. Is this the only way to add Vimeo support to VideoJS or are you aware of any other solutions?

Thank you,
Lewis

Привет, ребята!

Здесь, в Mobiliza, мы разработали хардфорк для этого плагина для поддержки версии 7.6.6 и выше: https://github.com/Mobiliza/videojs-vimeo .

Надеюсь, это полезно.

Hi, is this solution still working? Video won't start..
