I would appreciate if there could be a more detailed tutorial how to create 
translation for and-bible.

Translate only strings.xml is often not enough. The jsword library is not fully 
localized and thus it could be necessary to translate some properties files to 
have fully localized and-bible.

Usually it will be necessary to also localize for jsword names of bible book 
groups and perhaps bible book names.

Yes, you are quite right.  This is long overdue and I apologise for not 
prompting you regarding the need to translate the JSword files.

I have begun to create a 
[http://code.google.com/p/and-bible/wiki/UserInterfaceTranslation Wiki page] on 
this subject and would be grateful if you could comment on it because I have 
never actually done a translation myself.
