Problems with padding/spacing in buttons

Hello,

i use the cinnamon desktop.

In the authentication dialog the text in the button is not aligned (vertical) in the middle:

And I'm usin eclipse, and there is no left/right padding in the buttons, so they look squeezed togehter:

In Evolution you can see, that there is also no top/bottom padding in the buttons:

I think it would look better if there would be some padding.
