English and French?

I came across the online version at https://vincmazet.github.io/ftip/preface.html through the gallery of jupyterbook examples at https://executablebooks.org/en/latest/gallery.html.

I read through the first part of the book, which is in English, and it is excellent! I think this would be a good resource for some of my students in the research we are doing to teach them important image and image processing concepts. I notice though that after a certain point the book switches from English to French. Is there any plan to have a full version in English?

Hi Greg, thank you very much for your king message. You can of course use my book for your students. I wrote this first version during fall 2020, partly in French because I had not enough time to write in English. But it is expected to write the entire book in English for the next semester (fall 2021). Besides, the address may change to https://vincmazet.github.io/bip (for "Basics of image processing").
