Describe the bug

I moved my .visit folder, and tried to used the Host profiles and configuration setup dialog to install host profiles.

After selecting those I wanted, hitting install and restarting Visit they were not there.
I checked my ~/.visit. I ended up having to manually copy them in.

Impact

  • High - User productivity significantly degraded
  • Medium - User productivity partially degraded
  • Low - User productivity trivially degraded

Likelihood

  • High - occurrence is not specific to platform, data, config, a combination of operators, queries, etc.
  • Medium - neither low nor high likelihood
  • Low - occurrence is specific to combination of multiple factors such as configuration, data, platform, etc.

  • OSX 10.13
  • VisIt 3.0.1

Unassigning myself. The ticket is tagged as OSX, and I cannot duplicate on linux or windows.

Resolves #3741. Fixed the issue with installing host profiles after
9a0eed3 
moving or deleting the .visit directory while VisIt is running.
