Vanilla JS SPA routes problem

• If I got the URL http://localhost:5173/ it loads my single page app - this is working
• If I got to http://localhost:5173/login directly it sometimes loads my app and sometimes the code file is served
• I want to configure site so that is always loads my single page app
• I am using Vanilla JS with Vite

I have been searching for solutions for many hours so help is greatly appreciated.
