Because this is stated on the main page, it's probably a good idea for it to be at least addressed somewhere. Possibly on the changelog. Speaking of which, the V UI roadmap hasn't been updated for a while either. It's clear V UI is being updated and is useable, but not as to what are the plans for it, and it's been on 0.0.4 for a while as well. Since the changelog has sections now, perhaps something on V UI and about any plans for or thoughts on the visual editor would be good. If not on V's changelog, then maybe on V UI's roadmap. In regards to any visual editor plans, noticed that weekendkoder mentioned Lazarus, as oppose to Delphi. Note, people might not be realizing those are really big projects. This brings into question what kind of license would V's visual editor have. |

Hi Wajin. Thx for the updates. I am new to "V" and its github-repo. So i didnt track much of its progress.
Thats why i asked for some more details about the plans & progress. I would also say, its not an easy task to build an "good IDE" especially with UI functions like in Delphi / Lazarus. If demands for such a thing rise, there will be more people contributing to such an IDE. Alternatively a game engine could adapt "V" (not really an IDE, but something like). You mentioned a roadmap? I could not find one. My only way to track progress of V is, to check the latest dates on its github. Is there an |

Hello All.
I got my eye on V by surfing around the net. So i downloaded it, and played around. I was surprised how simple and
easy it is, to catch on. Syntax appeals to me. Coming from JS & C# (Unity). On the main website of V, there is a small info about UI:
I would like to know, if there is any progress on it (maybe an available alpha / beta) ?
Is there any statement from the devs, when such an IDE will be available (f.e. will ship with version 0.8 or 1.2, etc) ?
Or is there some kind of an IDE like Lazarus, which can handle "V" ?
An alternative could be, if a game-engine like Godot use "V" (a game engine is a bit more than an IDE). Or if "V" is suitable for
game-engines. I guess it is to early to speak about it ... !?
cheers
