What do you think about adding jq to the base image? #17

I have found this is a fairly common utility and it would simplify the aws-quickstart to have jq already present on the image.

Is this reasonable for wardroom to have or should consumers be modifying the image as needed?

Reasonable. In fact we should make all installed baseline packages configurable by the end user.

Would nfs-client also be added to base (needed on nodes for nfs volumes), or configurable? @craigtracey

@erictcgs yes, I think that is also reasonable. The most ideal case will be that these packages are all configurable. Given that nfs-client is necessary for nfs volumes, I think that would be a safe default install.
