Simplification use cases for the simplification in the personalization-semantics specification .

  1. Newsletter with critical information

an elementary school publishes a weekly newsletter with interesting stories about activities and important announcements. Important announcements include early school dismissal, but they are often in a list of other activities. This important information about early dismissal information can be easily missed as children can be at risk if the parents are not home and should be marked critical.

Note that the other elements are not tagged and are considered medium (by default)

  1. The send button. In another example, a user is writing a comment, but the send button is not clear when the view focuses on the text area and is bellow many other features that they will not fill out. As a result, she cannot see how to send her feedback. The company will then not receive any feedback from groups who are not able to find the feedback button. The send button and the feedback box should be marked as critical as you can not send feedback without these two controls.
