It happens almost every day that e.g. https://drafts.csswg.org/css-contain-2/ just shows:

Index of css-contain-2/

Name Last Modified Size Flags
[Parent Directory]
Overview.bs Sat, 17 Sep 2022 10:54:02 -0700 88933 -rw-r--r--

issues-2019-10-fpwd.txt Thu, 14 Nov 2019 03:52:56 +0900 275 -rw-r--r--

So clearly drafts.csswg.org is borken, but it can still display that table as a fallback.

Can we replace this useless fallback with a redirection to https://w3c.github.io/csswg-drafts/css-contain-2/ ?

The initial payment to fund development work on the server is imminent, adding code to make it redirect when it's already in a broken state will take work extending outdated code that's going to be replaced shortly. We'd all be better served if I just focus on fixing the server instead.

Would it be easier to redirect unconditionally regardless of whether the server is good or broken?
