I had a look at the document, and noticed that there is inconsistent spacing around the punctuation in some of the figures (c.f. Fig. 31, end-quote and comma, or Fig. 71 using single-byte parentheses, for example), which makes me think perhaps there is not a consistent standard or understanding among experts as to which is the "best" way? This warrants some discussion and explication as to what is going on and what is permissible.
