Welcome to Ken Franquerio, new to WAI staff. Ken is working with Kevin on the WCAG 2/3 repos as well as WAI site.
On their Monday coordination call, Alastair, Mike, and Bruce met with Kevin and Ken regarding cleaning up the repo. Expectation is that 2.1 and 2.2 can harmonized. 2.0 predates migration to GitHub and it might not be possible to fully integrate. Deconstructing the current XLST behavior remains a challenge.
We are still ironing out processes for publishing errata material in TR space.
That discussion did not leave time on coordination call for time to reviewing Francis' Chore: delete stale branches #3878.

1.2.3 / 1.2.5 Audio description - right language required? #3873 discussed on AG WG call Tuesday. Consensus on adding notes to understanding documents to state that text alternatives and equivalents should match the human language of the original content. Status changed from Response Only and moved to In Progress.
Could captions be an alternative for time-based media SC 1.2.1 with audio-only content #3870 is response only. Nothing but thumbs up, but several comments since Sent for WG approval. Patrick: If a caption is there, but is not displayed, then it's not a caption by definition? Scott: HTML spec recommends linking to transcript. DetLev: There is a need to flag as a problem for anyone using track element. Follow-up could be change to Understanding or a new Technique. Mike revised his response today inviting opening an issue.
Changes to 1.4.1 Use of Color understanding #1788 stays in For Discussion for now. DetLev added an image, which helps greatly. This PR overlaps with 1.4.1 Use of color: adding examples to understanding text #3717. Patrick will try to resolve the minor differences. If necessary, work can be resubmitted for WG approval.
Remainder of items Sent for WG Approval have several thumbs up.
Change <br> to <br/> #3879 -- Due to the XML-based publication pipeline, need to have self-closing <br/>. Otherwise when trying to build locally at least, ant chokes. Francis noted head collision. Ken believes Kevin has already fixed for Understanding. Shortly after call, Patrick closed the PR as superseded, and Status changed to Done.
Change <ol> to <ul> when no order is intended (normative) #3756 previously approved and has been merged but is errata in TR space. Will be added to queue for yearly republishing, probably this fall.
Update labels-or-instructions.html #3888 clarifies that wcag is not recommending use of placeholder text, and instead recommends accompanying text to provide the information. Modeled after G89. Moved to Ready for approval.
Added "Duplicated text" as a sufficient technique to fulfill the 1.4.5 Images of Text success criterion in the Understanding Document #3773 discussion deferred, as will not be quick. PR status remains as drafted.
Remove irrelevant preamble and first step from F94, future-proof expected results #3876 overlaps with Remove "1280 pixels wide" test step from F94 #3739 which is in already in Sent to WG queue. Keeping this PR in drafted, and Patrick will follow-up as needed.
Tweak understanding for 1.2.3 and 1.2.5 #1790 including mention of audio ducking. Patrick will bring back next week.
