Hi guys,
I need help by editing a few of sentences on Base62x in Wikipedia.org.
It would be an appendage to the page of Base64 in Wikipedia.org or a newly-created item on it.

I am trying to do so to help more developers know the better approach we have built to the traditional Base64.
The attempt had been made myself but failed due to that I am one of the authors of Base62x.

Could you please help on this addition of Base62x to Wikipedia?

Thanks in advance.

Hello wadelau,

have you already produced the document that needs to be put into Wikipedia?

What is unclear to me is that Wikipedia is not allowing you to do modifications yourself, is it because it is self-promotion?

Basic need is to add this paragraph below to the page of Base64 in Wikipedia.

Base64 is widely used in various fields of computer due to the above advantages. However, since the output content includes more than two "symbol-class" characters (+, /, =), many "variants" of Base64 have been developed in different application scenarios. In order to unify and standardize the output of Base64, base62x is regarded as an improved version without symbol in output.

What's more is to add a standalone page with title as Base62x in Wikipedia.

Yes, you are right. My editions of Base62x in Wikipedia had been regarded as self-promotion due to that the auditors figured out that I am the author of many articles of Base62x.

Please help, mauriziofonte, Wikipedia is still a considerable place to let more developers know what is better for next Base64 and what contributions we have made together.

Thanks for your feedback and continuous editions.
