When you visit a blacklisted page as first page (e.g. private sites behind login), analytics will store HasVisited into session even if nothing has been tracked. This causes everything except hits to not be tracked.

Reproduce:

  • Open new private window
  • First page to open is login page
  • Login and go to different page
  • Analytics will track page view but not unique/browser/device
