xarray.apply_ufunc
Currently the pcmin code iterates through each grid point in multiply-nested for loops, which is somewhat inefficient.
Update the code to make use of xarray’s apply_ufunc for unvectorized functions: http://xarray.pydata.org/en/stable/examples/apply_ufunc_vectorize_1d.html
