Thanks for the report. I can't reproduce this, the posts load as expected for me.
This could be the same issue as #106729, so I'll keep it open.

@ksy36 We have received a couple of reports regarding this issue, but I was not able to reproduce the issue on other devices as well:

Tagging you so that the issue will appear as triaged

I opened case #107306 a few days ago. I've tried disabling all my add-ons (Adblock plus DownThemAll) but problem still persists.
You need to scroll down for at least 10-15 seconds before problem appears.

@jave808 I was still unable to reproduce the issue following the extra info provided.
What I would do usually to test this kind of issue, is:

  1. Type about:profiles in the url bar.
  2. Choose Create a new profile.
  3. Call it deleteme or anything you please.
  4. Then start it. (this way you will be sure that nothing is interfering, no ghost caching etc.)
  5. Test.

@ksy36 I have managed to reproduce the issue on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Firefox Release. Scrolling the page faster than the posts are loading, when the posts are being loaded, the page jumps:
facebook scroll

I have also recorded a performance profile, as Firefox presented an increase in using the system resources of the device :

Screenshot_11

Performance profile: https://share.firefox.dev/3zy02XV

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 102.0.1 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 105.0a1 (2022-07-25) (64-bit) /Chrome Version Version 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  3. Scrolling in Chrome presents the same issue with posts not loading, but once the posts are loaded, the page does not present scrolling issues:
    facebook scroll chr

Moving this to NeedsDiagnosis for further investigations.

I still can't reproduce this on the main facebook feed, tried on MacOS and Windows, following Raul's comment.

There is https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1779404 that has some ongoing investigation, so let's close this as a duplicate.
