This seems to require an account on utopian.io (an opensource crowdfunding site) and steemit.com (a generic crowdsourcing thing based on some blockchain magic). It doesn't seem to show me the button with just a dummy account, so I'm not too sure how to approach this. This issue needs some more research in those platforms first... |

Maybe part of the problem is you have to have an account in utopian-io, and
for that you have to have an account in steemit.
After ones is logged in to utopian io, the path to delegating steempower to
utopian works with chrome, but not with firefox. I describe the process in
detail in the article I quoted, I don not see how I can describe it better
that there.

Basically, you log in, you click sponsors, you click the delegate button,
and then a dialog window appears with the option of logging to your steemit
account. If you chose any of the two options with firefox, nothing happens.
If you are using chrome, you get a windows that asks for your password,
login to steemit, and approve your delegation of steempower.
Like one of you said in one of your previous messages, this is a blockchain
thing.

@gregariomansa Thanks a lot for the detailed article. This is useful. Just before clicking on the delegate button, could you open the console in Firefox. This will probably display error messages. It is a first step in trying to understand what is happening under the hood. Thanks. |

Menu, Web Developer, Web Console, and I get this at the bottom of the
Firefox screen
Just in it might be useful, I also include the information about what
version of Firefox I am using.

@gregariomansa :) yup the previous answer didn't reach us because Github emails don't allow attachments. You have to put them directly on github through the comment form. or somewhere online. :) |

I did not send any attachment... I just pasted the images on the body of

This site has been relaunched, everything looks different, and this bug doesn't have any new information. Also, the last ping is more than 6 months old and has not been replied to. I think we can close this bug for now. :) @gregariomansa if there is any issue with the new version in Firefox on that site, please let us know here, happy to reopen this or file a new issue! |
