I see the API v3 has been marked as 'deprecated' (finally!) - so, yes, it's time to put hands on v4. :)
Thank you for the reminder, I will create something shortly.

Just FYI - the first stable version of the new library has been released.
The new library is hosted in a separated repository - https://github.com/webinarium/linode-api.
