It would be good if model files were versioned so that any changes which introduce future incompatibilities are detectable and can therefore warn users and/or prevent models being inccorectly used. This was based on trying a model built with 0.9.8.4RC1 and evaluating it using 0.9.8.4RC9 code. This produced spurious results. Rebuilding a model with RC9 and evaluating with RC9 confirmed the issue.
