acknowledgements, attribution, and/or disclaimers for and from supported companies (MW; BIOPAC) and maybe CSU. Ask them what they would like to include! The Description field in DESCRIPTION seems supposed to be just a brief... well... description, and it is indexed by CRAN.
I believe the LICENSE file should be where all the fine print goes. It can look like this:
YEAR: 2019
COPYRIGHT HOLDER: Kathleen E. Wendt
This material is based upon work supported by the
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program
under Grant No. 006784-00002 [to KEW]. Any opinions, findings, and
conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of
the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National
Science Foundation.
Or maybe there's a better place for it, let's find out.
