[=list/Truncate=] |list| to [=list/size=] |n|.

or even:

[=list/Truncate=] |list| to |n|.

Is a lot more readable than:

[=list/Remove=] all items from |list| except the first |n|, so that |list|'s [=list/size=] is now |n|.
