I assume,

  1. Most likely, this error is due to i defined a very large geographical area, and some SRTM files may have not completly downloaded ..

P.S
Initially I tried out two nodes by just "locating their position" , without filling up the database with more info like geographical dept. etc

Anyway I'll give a second try more detailed ...

There is no problem if you define a very large geographcal area, system can hande it. The only problem exists when SRTM files are missing.

You can update your SRTM files at any time by using the command line tool php tools/srtm/download_all.php.
This tool will check if any SRTM file is missing and it will try to automatically download it. You can also try to delete all existing srtm files under files/srtm/* and rerun the tool.

@ v1.1-0-a1 there is multiple broken buttons.

button [line of signal (LOS) with other nodes]
pop up a new window /nodes/plot_link, but you can not select a node with [change] button because
pop up one more window /nodes/plot_link.

If you click on a line of signal diagram of an existing link that is correctly appears.
button [change] work.
button [OK] & drop down menu of frequency 2400, 5500 redirect you to /nodes page.
