When using KDisplay in a virtual machine (virt-manager, virtio) and changing the resolution manually, this setting is lost after reboot of the VM. Instead the low resolution of SDDM (1024x768) was used for the desktop and I had to adjust again the resolution.
Just for information: KScreen is able to keep the resolution when using virtio. But it has the issue that it cannot change the resolution at all when using the qxl driver.
