Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm always frustrated when trying to quickly set up mirar on a laptop, after a postgres/os update necessitating a reinstall, or some other unexpected adventure.
We could then simply mount the data directories and do the image reduction in the container. It'd mean you could run mirar on anything (e.g windows) and would have less trouble with all the conda arm/arch nonsense. You'd never need to directly figure out how to configure astrometry.net again!
Describe alternatives you've considered
Things are fine as is. This is more an alternative than a replacement.

I think we could quite easily build a docker image that has all prerequisites for mirar, inspired by e.g https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/lheasoft/docker.html
