Unable to rename user-defined entities. #11
Comments
Yes, this is definitely on the roadmap! Will keep you posted about release date. Thanks for your input. |
Done! Thanks for your feedback :) |
Thanks! I have succesfully renamed one of my entities. However, I was not able to rename a second one. I renamed from 'portion' to 'unit' and got the error: Already exists 99ca0404-6fc7-4da5-a53c-49cd02478f81$unit This entity is not defined in my own entities, my guess is that the unique check checks in more entities than the predefined list / the entities in your instance. |
This is subtle. In fact, you do have a "unit" entity provided by Wit when you created your account (containing meters, grams, etc). This should be fixed shortly — I'll keep you posted here. From there, you should be able to delete it if you don't need it, and then replace it with your own "unit". Sorry about the inconvenience! |
Okay, this is fixed. Thanks for your feedback and patience! |
The possibility to rename user-defined entities would be a nice addition. After a while I realized the name I chose for my entities should be changed to a more general form.
