Hi, I have enjoyed a lot your theme, however since it's not updated at the same pace as new versions of GNOME some things break and I would like to disable it. In the README it states that this can be achieved by:

However, since the theme installation with the provided command replaces the original files in the .config/gtk* directories, I would like to know how to go back to the default theme, since just removing these folders results in a broken theme.

This might be way to late but could you specify your distribution? On debian simply removing ~/.config/gtk4.0 restores defaults after rebooting. .config/gtk3.0 doesn't need to be edited either on install or uninstall.
