This release has been updated to fix hotkey issues and remove the fast forward button whilst pressing the hotkey button. To update existing installations you can either start from scratch using this image or run the OneForAll update from the Retropie menu.

Updated OneForAll software, with option to update to future version in Retropie Config menu. Details here: https://www.bluuplabs.com/oneforall-v2/
Image now boots faster
Support for HDMI

NOTE:

*On first boot the system will turn on, then reboot. This is normal and the file system expanding.
*Turning WIFI off will make the system boot faster and games play smoother.
*Edit the WPA_Supplicant in boot with wifi name and password to get wifi working.
*Samba is disabled, to transfer roms use the SFTP method here (SSH is already enabled on the image: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Transferring-Roms/). Alternatively on a Mac you can use the alpha version of the Rom transfer software found here: https://github.com/withgallantry/Pi-Filler/releases
*Use Etcher to burn the image to an SD Card: https://www.balena.io/etcher/. Does not require unzipping.

Updating Retropie from the Menu

If you are updating Retro Pie from the Retro Pie menu, it will cause a few issues with the system. First issue is that the i2s audio overlay becomes non functioning, causing the system to hang when trying to initialise the audio. The way to fix this is to download and then copy the file attached to this release into the /boot/overlays part of the SD Card.

The second problem is due to an issue upstream from Rasbian. It's due to systemd. It means that after an update, when rebooting, you will be given a login prompt and that's all. To fix it you need SSH access.
SSH into the Pi then follow these instructions:

-At command prompt, type sudo raspi-config
-Select option 3 in menu (Boot Options)
-Select option B1 (Desktopp/CLI)
-Select option B2 (Console Autologin)

Next restart - if the screen remains black for a long period, switch the Pocket FE to the off position and use the emergency shutdown, then turn the system on again.

Everything should be working at this point.
