Hello sir,

I am a researcher, I am new to this era, and I would like to contribute to the 5G network.
I read your research paper "Experimenting with open source tools to deploy a multi-service and multi-slice mobile network".

Could you please tell me how I can run this code?
Thanks

Hi,
first of all, this is a first approach to a 5G CN. Given that said, to run the authenticator, controller.py must be executed. Then, to run a UPF it is required to connect a lagopus sdn switch to the gtpu_controller.py provided at 5G_CN_UPF.

Regards,
Ginés.

Hi,
The gtpu_controller.py is basically a RYU SDN controller instance. To configure lagopus, there is a .dsl configuration file where you can specify where the controller will be reachable (example).

Ginés.
