unfortunately this is another error, that is distinct from common-workflow-language/cwltool#1238.

I've reported it and waiting for a fix (see above).

Obviously, your workflow uses so many cutting edge features of CWL that cwltool is a bit overwhelmed 😄

Thanks @KerstenBreuer, looks like this was resolved on cwltool right? How do I now retest?
I managed to install the master branches of both cwltool & cwlab, but getting the same behaviour.

actually the common-workflow-language/cwltool#1241 is still open.

But once that issue is solved, you can indeed proceed by installing the master branches of both.
