YouTube embeds just stopped working recently

Craft Pro 3.7.36 & oEmbed 1.3.15

Is this something that's likely because of the oEmbed v4 updates I've seen mentioned elsewhere?

I created a branch use you test using dev-embed4 I haven't been able to get anyone to test it / give feedback on it so it's been stale. It's what I really want moved too but need feedback and community testing

Oddly enough, things began working again without any changes. Maybe it was a temporary glitch, or possibly a planned temporary outage of the deprecated way of doing oEmbeds? :-/ I dislike when problems resolve themselves without my knowing why.
