Yeah, this happens because both evolve and DarkRP modify the chat. Eventually, evolve will have settings for that kinda stuff. As for the Prop Protection, what is malfunctioning? "There is a problem" is not much of a description. |
Delete /lua/ev_plugins/sh_rankcolors.lua That's what solved the Evolve chat problem for me. |
Sorry for being vague, I'm still not sure if it is Falcon's PP or evolve, but when I black list an item or tool people are still able to spawn it. For example if I were to black list wire mod's E2 people would still be able to spawn in their E2 chips. I plan on removing wire mod but that is just an example since it was doing it for other tools that weren't wire mod. It may also be my fault and I could not be blacklisting the tools correctly. Aso for the chat I'll look into the sh_rankcolors.lua and see if that will work. I do wish I knew lua so I could screw around and possibly help out. |
If they are spawning the actual entities (presumably from the adv dupe) then you'll need to add the entities to FPP's toolgun dupe blacklist. Edit: There's nothing to "look around" in. All you need to do is remove the file and the gliched chat will be gone. |
It isn't the adv dupe, they are just spawning in what ever they want. I'll try and see if I can screw around with the settings more and see if I can fix it. It may be that I forgot to block with evolve and they are not wanting to play nicely. |

It seems that with the DarkRP mod the chat will duplicate what ever you say. Is there a way to remove either evolves default chat or have a check for the DarkRP game mode and go silent unless a certain command such as @ or @@ are used?

EDIT: I found the server console output:

Another issue is that there seems, for me at least, to be an issue with Prop Protection when using Falcon's PP.
