Krypton nightlies - Repo fails to load error #35
Comments
Hey. Nothing in that log I can find relating to the installation of the repo. I'll try installing Krypton and attempting the install myself |
Hi Andy, I tried the master first (assuming it would be necessary to get the ssl fix) - which gives the "failed to load" error and then I tried the download in the instructions which point to [(https://github.com/xbmc-catchuptv-au/repo/raw/master/repository.googlecode.xbmc-catchuptv-au/repository.googlecode.xbmc-catchuptv-au-1.3.zip)] |
You don't want master of the repo - that won't help. In this case, you also don't want to install iView from the repo as it hasn't been updated with the SSL fix yet ;) I've just tested installing the repo zip file, and worked fine for me on Krypton |
thanks - loads ok but most do not work on mac due to ssl error - happy to retest when ready cheers |
Hi Andy, it looks like 1.7.2 is broken on the mac again - did the ssl work around go in ? I will try going back to the abc iview master ,, |
Actually, I did release a new version with the SSL verification off, but it On 15 Jul 2016 7:39 PM, "gigantaur" notifications@github.com wrote:

Master abc-iview works (my settings must have upgraded automatically and overwritten). I suspect it is now broken for all macintosh users not just me. I will see if I can find the fix for python ssl for the mac .. The errors point to ssl.c
