When you save a xopp file, the default behavior is for xournal to create some kind of backup with the same file name with a '~' post-fixed. I do not like that it saves this backup in the same directory as the original copy of the file because it pollutes my directory with copies of everything. I have no problem with leaving the current default behavior as is, but I don't see a way for me to disable this or configure an alternative location for all these save backups. Thanks!
